This is a talk that I gave at the University of Michigan in February — during those glorious days just before we went into the global coronavirus lockdown. It seems like it was so long ago that I traveled out there and gave this talk to a packed room full of people … Many things have changed since then. Hopfully we will get back to normal soon and we can start getting together for talks again rather than having to watch them on computer screens.

I watched whole video. Thank you! I learned about the existence of India's own path between Japan and Russia. Until recently, I believed that Russia was outside this process.
Excellent! Thank you for that. Yes, Russia is actually one of the countries driving the Silk Road Economic Belt. The Trans-Siberian is the route of two corridors between China and Europe and Russian and Belarusian companies are big players in that rail network as well as creating new dry ports and logistics zones for Silk Road transport. You should go out and tell the story of what they're doing!
